Defining Success....

Name:Jagatjit Anand
Email:jjanand74@gmail.com

A proud Indian, hailing from Lucknow, the ‘City of Nawabs’, Mr. Jagatjit Anand is a young, dynamic 46 year old professional who is a humble, self made man.

From struggling to graduate in Mechanical Engineering to joining a Sheet Metal manufacturing unit in Punjab, India, he has come a long way to be a motivational leader to his colleagues as Senior Vice President(Operations) of GMP Technical Solutions Pvt Limited. at the age of 35 years.

Though he has been awarded the Best Performer Award in the industry by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, humility and commitment form an integral part of Jagatjit’s warm personality. Even though he was once given the golden opportunity to be a permanent residence of Australia, he preferred to give priority to his ongoing projects with GMP Technical Solutions Pvt Ltd, a venture of Cipla India.

Let’s GLIMPSE into the multi faceted personality of Jagatjit Anand, someone who is looked up to by many, someone who has inspired plenty and someone who never believes in giving up.

Being creative since childhood, Jagatjit was always more keen to play with mechanical toys than score the best grades in school. An ardent cricket fan, obsessed with bags, pens and freaky gadgets, Jagatjit was happy with tools rather than bundles of boring school books. As a result, he failed in 7th class but the humiliation made him more determined, never to fail in life again. Thus began Jagatjit's journey never to give up.

Seeing his father repair small gadgets at home, intrigued this young lad to develop a passion for tools and the mechanical field. The burning passion won him a seat in the prestigious Central Tool Room which had just 20 vacancies for highly deserving candidates.

Always been a rebel who listens more to his heart than his head, Jagatjit married against his parents' wishes as soon as he secured a good job. With angry parents who threw him out of their house and no roof above his head, Jagatjit, along with his devoted wife struggled through harsh days where they could hardly make ends meet and slept on the floor for days. With a meagre income of just Rs 4500, the couple began their humble home, with a single minded aim to earn money, name and fame, in a clean manner, through struggle and dedication.

Jagatjit, along with his job, chiselled his career further by enrolling in long distance courses one after the other. Take a glance at his glorious achievements here.

The aim to live a comfortable and respectable life, was achieved by the family, by sticking together ever since. With the passage of time and seeing his undying efforts towards his career, Jagatjit's parents embraced him and his little family with utmost love. It was worth the struggle and each tiny effort; he smiles as he thinks about moments of sharing a drink with his late father.

After a hard day's work, Jagatjit unwinds by listening to romantic melodious music with his wife, who is an entrepreneur herself and watching cricket with his two teenage children who dote on him.

"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." ~Henry Ford

Having seen days when he had nothing, Jagatjit is a person who values hard work, time and money. Surrendering his faith and life in the hands of the Almighty, Jagatjit took one step forward after another with a positive approach. He never planned his life but kept believing in himself and his dedication to reach where he is today. With a humble vision to spread his wings globally, Jagatjit wishes to expand his expertise in various horizons, wherever he can.

Always motivating his employees and colleagues to aspire towards their goals, Jagatjit is a go getter who is restless till he achieves his personal or professional aims. Not the kind of person who only orders his employees and awaits results, Jagatjit is a team leader who will work with his team members tooth and nail, till they reach their goal together. Constantly inspiring his employees to work dedicatedly towards one common vision, he strongly feels it’s vital to take care of their financial, physical  and emotional needs so they can be more productive, tension free.

Never thinking of doing wrong towards others, Jagatjit strongly believes in Karma when he says ‘ If you do good, good itself will come back to you’.

Many of his well wishers, friends, clients and colleagues often say in Jagatjit’s praise ‘ When we had no one to turn to, Jagatjit could always be counted upon’.
